1. Don't be afraid to make mistakes. It is much better to try and say something incorrectly than say nothing at all.
2. Use every possible chance to hear authentic language. Watch films, TV shows, news reports, and listen to music in English. Even if you don't know all the words, you still can understand the main idea.
3. Try to think in English. Even if your vocabulary is limited, you can use the time while you're walking down the street or riding a bus to think about the things you see, people passing by, your plans for the day.
4. Use your dictionary. Whenever you get curious about the meaning of some word, or you want to know how to say some word in English, don't be lazy to consult your dictionary. This will help you to be constantly enriching your vocabulary.
5. Don't switch to your native language right away if you don't know how to say something in English. Try to explain what you want to say in a different way.
6. Never give up learning. Learning a language is not an easy thing and sometimes you can't see the fruit of your work right away. But it is still worth the effort!
